GENERIQUE DE DEBUT

En 1564 , Nostradamus a prédit la destruction de la terre en trois vagues terrifiantes . La première vague est là . Je m'appelle Kade FOSTER , je tiens un journal de bord . Ils ont tué ma femme , et m'ont fait accuser du meurtre . Maintenant je fuis , mais je ne me cache pas . Les prophéties de Nostradamus me servent de guide . Je cherche qui ils sont , je les pourchasse . J'arrêterai la premiére vague .

LIEU : la terre,

L’EPOQUE : juste avant l’Armageddon.

Si certaines séries sont distillées petit à petit, 13ème rue nous a ingurgité les trois saisons quasiment en enfilade, sur un sujet qui méritait une meilleure adaptation.

Il ne s’agit pas moins que Des prophéties de Nostradamus, citées quatrain après quatrain, et rythmant ainsi l’intrigue. Par contre, le dénouement est un classique qu’avait déjà mis en exergue Les envahisseurs, en l’occurrence une auto combustion des extraterrestres, que l’on retrouve également dans Highlander, Le damné, L’immortelle, Buffy,...

Ce qu’aurait donc prévu Nostradamus, ce sont différentes vagues successives d’envahisseurs, et nous en serions à la troisième je crois, et peut-être la dernière, si la série n’est plus en production.
