LIEU : la énième petite ville des Etats-Unis, sombre et bizarre,

Difficile d’expliquer et de situer l’action. TWIN PEAKS est d’abord un film « d’ambiance », dérangeant et obséquieux.


Tout s’organise autour de la découverte d’un corps d’une jeune fille, avec comme suaire, une simple bâche plastifiée.

Tout est caché à TWIN PEAKS, étrange, conduit à partir puis rester, ou l’inverse encore. Le prisonnier a fait des émules, dans un autre genre, mais non sans succès.
