Du KITCH, en voilà encore. Avec BATMAN, emprunté au concepteur Bob KANE, démarre une série de 120 épisodes, dont l’architecture ne se prend vraiment pas au sérieux.

Fidèle à la B.D., l’action se termine toujours par des bagarres plus humoristiques que musclées, et chaque épisode s’achève par un « caped crusaders », ou mille et une manières d’être mis en morceaux. Mais sur l’épisode suivant, toujours à base d’onomatopées colorées et explosives, le couple BATMAN/ROBIN s’en sort, pour notre plus grand plaisir.

Se succèdent ainsi dans les méchants, Catwoman, le pingouin, le joker, Mr. Freeze, Sandman ou King Tut (un pharaon attardé).

Cela ne vole pas très haut, notamment et paradoxalement lorsque le duo grimpe au diapason à des bâtiments manifestement horizontaux, et qu’ils rencontrent à chaque fois des figures connues du spectacle.

A regarder donc avec ses yeux d’adolescents, voire de pré-ado.
