Prolongement
à séquences du conte du même nom, la Belle et la
Bête s’installe comme une œuvre unique, des années
80, mais aussi depuis la naissance de la télévision, et
des séries en particulier.
Décors soignés, textes très littéraires, musiques d’œuvres produites par des auteurs connus...installent un style bien particulier.
Les « tunnels », espaces où évoluent les laissés pour compte, rebus de la société ou réfractaires à celles-ci y évoluent, avec leurs qualités, supérieures à ceux « d’en haut », mais comportent également leurs propres défauts, comme dans toute société reconstituée. Seul lien externe où se côtoient longuement la Belle et la Bête, un balcon, tels Roméo et Juliette. L’ensemble de l’action se passe la nuit, seul moment où semblent s’exhaler les beautés internes du monde externe. A voir avec un autre œil que GALACTICA ou XENA, au risque d’être déçu, ce qui serait dommage pour l’éclectisme des connaissances que chacun se devrait de posséder. |
