MOTIF : l’imagination de l’écrivain Sir Arthur CONAN DOYLE.

Encore une excellent idée, dont l’exploitation laisse perplexe. Certes, il y a ce premier épisode qui installe les personnages et plante les décors, et qui conduit, trop vite à mon sens, vers les dinosaures que tout le monde attendait, et que chacun eut bientôt.

A part cela, tous les thèmes classiques, comme dans nombres de séries, furent utilisés, et chaque épisode de la série permet de rencontrer une nouvelle civilisation (sorciers, druides, vampires, chevaliers, mayas,...) à croire que ce lieu est le point de convergence des cinq continents, voire également du sixième).

Les effets spéciaux et la pulpeuse sauvageonne, font néanmoins digérer un ensemble qui eut été trop fade sans cela.
